POLICE are appealing for witnesses to a road traffic collision in Tavistock on Friday in which a motorcyclist died.

Officers attended the scene in Parkwood Road (A386) along with paramedics and the air ambulance around 12.40pm. The motorcyclist involved in the collision was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officers from the roads policing team and forensic collision investigators attended and the road was closed for a number of hours while a specialist examination and recovery took place.

Anyone who witnessed the collision, or was in the area at the time and may have dashcam footage, is asked to call 101, or email [email protected], quoting log 357 of 22/10/21.
