Bere Alston Primary School got the paints and the Santa hats out for a Christmas crafts afternoon last Thursday.

The event saw parents welcomed along with their children to take part in the session in the school hall. 
This included hand painting wooden bauble shapes to hang on the school’s Christmas tree outside.

Head of school Gareth Bemister explained that there were five activites for the children to try.

There was also a chance to meet Santa in his grotto.
