A CAR fire in Buckland Monachorum is being treated as arson.

The blaze on Tuesday morning, March 14, was put out by firefighters from Crownhill in Plymouth.

They were called out just after 6am after several members of the public raised the alarm. The fire gutted the vehicle, which is believed to have been set alight deliberately.
