A MAN reportedly needed extraction from Foggintor Quarry, near Princetown, on Saturday, 29 June.
The Dartmoor Search and Rescue Team Tavistock were called by the police near midnight.
The team set out in Land Rovers down the trail, happening to meet the young man who required the assistance along the way.
A team doctor assessed the man and deemed he no longer required an ambulance.
