Postbridge pantomime group Phyl’s Follies, has been determined this year to put a smile on the faces of the Dartmoor residents and will come back with a bang at the end of this month with Cinderella.

Members have been quietly rehearsing for several weeks and are delighted that they are able to tread the boards again.

It has certainly been a challenge and to make it as safe as possible the cast is smaller, the seating numbers have been reduced, and along with covid guidelines the audience will be required to wear masks and carry out a lateral flow test prior to attending.

This year the follies have something special with two local farmers Lloyd Mortimore and Frank Martin, who are experienced dames, coming together to cause chaos as the Ugly Sisters, Oh yes they are!
