The historic bridge straddling the river Tamar at Gunnislake is closed all this week for repairs between 9.30am and 3.30pm.

The closure runs from today (Monday, September 2) until Friday, September 6.

It involves permanent repairs to damaged cutwaters – the face of the bridge supports – and fitting steel nosings to protect the cutwaters from future damage.

See here for revised bus times for the 79/79a buses run by Go Cornwall, to take into account longer times for diversions.
